Tucked inside a quaint little "cubbyhole", just off Highway 75 (a.k.a. Washington Boulevard) in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, sits a family-owned restaurant which opened in July 1991. When you walk through Midway's doors, you will enjoy a fine dining experience where everyone is treated as family and those who are regulars are called by their first name. You have the option of dining indoors or outside on their beautiful patio. Whichever you choose you will have the view or, if choose to dine outdoors, you can also enjoy the sound of the peaceful waterfall that flows beautifully down the luscious hillside of greenery. Surely this cafe does cook wonderful home-cooked (American) food but customers can also enjoy international dishes - all cooked in non-trans fat oil.
To Our Customers
We would like to thank our customers, to those who have helped and supported us all these years. Our customers are our livelihood, and knowing that you enjoy and appreciate the fruit of our effort makes our hard work worthwhile. Being in business 20 years, we naturally have gotten better with age. We live up to our promises and the best is yet to come at Midway Cafe. Over the years we have served home-cooked meals from our daily specials from soup, to dinner rolls, biscuits, cornbread, pancake mix and a lot of others. We make our food from scratch with no hydrogenated fats, no preservatives and no MSG!
Beginning November 1, 2005 we cut trans fat foods out as much as possible by using real butter, canola oil and olive oil. We have also boosted our fiber content by using whole grain flour, barley, vegetables and pasta in our recipes. For healthy hearts we have promoted cold water fish such as Salmon, Trout and other fish that lower cholesterol and heart disease risk. Many other changes are coming--all for a better, healthier diet. We hope that you continue to support us in our new effort and our new menu items.
